Sandy Bratton, AuD

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Bratton is a licensed Doctor of Audiology serving patients at HearBest’s Lafayette – South office. She specializes in identifying, assessing, and managing conditions of the auditory, vestibular, and neural systems that impact hearing and balance.  In additional to her extensive expertise in advanced hearing instrument evaluations and fittings, she specializes in testing and analyzing the inner ear for dizziness and balance issues.  She is dedicated to helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes for both hearing and balance.

After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and her Master of Science in Audiology from Purdue University, Dr. Bratton went on to complete her Doctorate of Audiology at A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She began her career at the Department of Health in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1993, before returning to Lafayette in 1994. Over the years, she has held leadership and clinical roles at St. Elizabeth and Home Hospital, including serving as Department Director of Speech and Audiology. She later worked as Department Manager of Audiology at Clarian-Arnett Health, and in 2008, brought her 18+ years of experience to private practice alongside Dr. Scott Sanders at BalanceMD.

Dr. Bratton is actively involved in advancing her profession. She previously served as Treasurer of the Indiana Academy of Audiology (INAA) and is a long-standing member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).

Outside of her work at HearBest, Dr. Bratton enjoys life in Lafayette with her husband and bulldogs. In her free time, she loves traveling, scuba diving, scrapbooking, and making memories with her family.
