Allure AI keeps Widex’s natural everyday sound and adds a dedicated AI co-processor for noisy places. Instead of running AI all the time, you turn on the Clarity Boost program with a tap on the hearing aid or in the app when a restaurant or gathering gets loud, so you get natural sound most of the day and extra clarity exactly when you want it.

What’s the difference between Widex Allure and Allure AI?
Both run on Widex’s W1 chip for natural everyday sound. Allure AI adds a dedicated AI co-processor and the Clarity Boost program, which you turn on when you want extra help in noise. Allure is available now in RIC, BTE and ITE styles; Allure AI is a receiver-in-canal arriving in the U.S. on November 1, 2026.
When can I get Widex Allure AI?
Widex’s full U.S. launch of Allure AI is November 1, 2026. We can test your hearing and plan your fitting now, then fit Allure AI once it’s available, or fit Widex Allure today if you’d rather not wait.
Do I have to buy the newest model?
No, and we’ll tell you if you shouldn’t. Widex Allure and Moment are still strong hearing aids that we fit and service, and many patients are best served by a different technology level or brand. The evaluation comes first; the device recommendation comes out of it.
Why do people choose Widex?
Widex is known for natural sound. Its ZeroDelay processing reduces the tiny delay between the sound you hear through the hearing aid and the sound that reaches your ear directly, which many wearers, especially music lovers and people with milder hearing loss, describe as more natural.
Can I stream phone calls and audio with Widex hearing aids?
Yes. Widex Allure streams from iPhone and Android and supports Bluetooth LE Audio and hands-free calls, and the Widex Allure app lets you adjust sound and switch programs. Auracast broadcast audio is planned through a future update. Compatibility with your specific phone is confirmed at your fitting.
Do Widex hearing aids have a telecoil for hearing loops?
Allure AI RIC, Allure RIC and Allure BTE include a telecoil for hearing loop systems at churches, theaters and public buildings. The custom Allure ITE does not, so tell your specialist if you rely on loops.
Do Widex hearing aids need to be programmed for my hearing loss?
Yes. Widex hearing aids are professionally programmed to match your hearing test results and comfort preferences, then verified with Real Ear Measurement and fine-tuned at follow-up. The same hearing aid can sound very different depending on who programs it.
Does insurance cover Widex hearing aids?
