Questions about booking your visit
What can I book online?
You can book a hearing evaluation, a hearing aid appointment or a tinnitus appointment online. Choose your clinic, see the real open times, and pick the one that works for you. Your appointment is booked right away.
How do I schedule a balance or earwax appointment?
Choose Balance & Dizziness or Earwax Services in the scheduler and share your details. A care coordinator will call you to set up your visit. Balance and dizziness testing is at our Lafayette – South clinic, so we schedule it by phone to make sure you get the right visit.
How do walk-ins work?
Walk-ins are for quick hearing aid help: cleaning, wax guard and dome replacement, battery and charger issues, Bluetooth help and minor repairs. No appointment is needed: every HearBest clinic offers walk-in service during its regular business hours. Choose Walk-In Services in the scheduler to let us know you’re coming, so the team can be ready for you.
Is the first consultation free?
Yes. Your first consultation is complimentary, with no obligation.
What happens after I book?
You’ll get a confirmation by text and email right away. A care coordinator may also call to confirm and answer any questions. If you requested a balance or earwax visit, we’ll call you to schedule it.
What if I don’t see a time that works?
Online booking shows the next couple of weeks. If you need a later date or a different time, choose “Ask us to call” in the scheduler or call us, and we’ll do our best to find a time that works for you.
Which clinics can I book online?
Online booking is available at every HearBest clinic except IU Health Arnett, where visits are arranged through IU Health Arnett. Find the clinic nearest you.
Can a family member come with me?
Yes, and we encourage it. Many patients bring a spouse, adult child or caregiver. A familiar voice can even help during your hearing evaluation.
Will I be pressured to buy anything?
No. Our goal is to listen, answer your questions and help you decide what feels right for you.
Do you accept insurance?
Many insurance plans are accepted, and coverage varies. We’re happy to help you review your options.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. Your information is used only for your hearing care and scheduling, and it’s protected under our privacy policy and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
